DAISUKE AKIYAMA

Born in Tokyo 1978. Studied about cultures of Europe in Spain from age 18. After back to Japan, went to Aoyama Gakuin University and also worked as a head coach of graduated high school soccer team. After graduated university, worked 8 years for Frontier International Inc. Which famously specialized in promotion and design. Then changed to work for F1 media Inc. The company is known by organizing of the biggest japanese fashion festival ”Tokyo Girls Collection”. In 2014, started own company ”WHYiT” branding and producing for multifarious cliants. Also working as an freelance adviser for MERCER OFFICE Inc. , INFORICH Inc. , Airstar Japan Inc. any fields of industries are excepted.

ICUMI OOHAMA

Born in 1985 Fukuoka. In 2005, started the career in fashion field, worked for the Japanese famous fashion company BAROQUE JAPAN LIMITED as a sales staff. In 2006, changed the company to MARK STYLER Inc. and worked 6 years as a PR. After these years in fashion field, in 2013, became a freelance fashion adviser and worked for FIG&VIPER Inc., vintage select shop ”Hedy” and more. From 2014, accede to vintage online shop Hedy's creative director. At the same time, started work as a brand conceptor and buyer. From 2015, widen the field as a creative director, not only the fashion field, but worked for MERCER OFFICE as food and drink business, and star music entertainment Inc. as music business field. In the same year, became a member of ”WHYiT” and mainly working as a creative director and PR.

EITA KIMURA

Born in Tokyo 1987. Played in a band from age of 14, and then at the age of 18, started a new career as a DJ. Besides doing the DJ, also worked at the hair salon "ZENKO Omotesando" as a beautician. After few years, decided to focus more on DJ and the music field. Having new interests in producing and event organizing, In 2015, started to work as an assistant director at "WHYiT”. The unique characteristics, "magically" fits all kinds of project. Still keeping on the DJ jobs, plays at famous clubs and events in japan and abroad, such as ULTRA JAPAN, fashion parties and Park Hyatt Tokyo. Nowadays, also operates as a music selector for fashion shows and restaurants.

 

Yohei Nagata

Art Director / Designer

Yohei Nagata was born in Tokyo in 1987 where he studied Ar t&Design. For his graduation project he produced a limited edition, handmade book for Kazuhiro Nomura, Little Girl, published by Void+ (Aoyama). After joining Mori Design in 2008, he eventually became the studio’s Art Director and left to found o-flat inc. in 2018. As o-flat’s Art Director, Yohei oversees branding and communication design projects that cover a wide range of industries from fashion apparel to event production companies, both in Japan and overseas. Some of the studios clients include Baccarat, UN University, and ULTRA JAPAN. In addition to design, he is also a practicing artist, who continues to create and exhibit his typographic works and is featured in various publications. Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) Member Applied Typography 2011 Winner and more.
